Jeez Louise! The guy had total brain-lock--far worse than Perry on a far more important topic. At best, the Cain looked like a student who has been cramming to pass an exam and who's brain is suddenly overloaded with all of the information he's been trying to learn to pass--he even said as much when he said ". . . got all this stuff twirlin' around in my head . . ."

Being President isn't like trying to pass a test, you have to have a formulated policy framework already fully developed. As we have seen from Obama, there's no room for on the job training--from ground zero--you have to have a substantial body of working knowledge from day one or you start out too far behind to catch up.

Herman Cain is NOT ready for prime time.

This was posted on G+ which is very liberal and many came to his defense saying he was trying to clarify a very vague question and his response was thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have watched the video posted on Hotair several times. This was not a “debate” type of format, specifically it reminded me more of my own experience being deposed by lawyers. If you think it is a good idea to start speaking off the top of your head without carefully considering what a lawyer has just asked you... and asking for clarification then you are an idiot and will be play-dough in the most junior lawyers hands.

Mr. Cain was given a vague “gotcha” question and handled it extremely well. He answered the question without letting them box him into a corner. I can only wish that I could have done so well when lawyers have asked me about subjects on which I am very familiar only to have them twist my answers around after they intentionally and successfully have tripped me up. I am proud of Mr. Cain's response; they worded a complex question in a way that tried to force a yes/no answer. He successfully had them clarify and then went on to give the appropriate response.

You have gleefully participated in yet another smear devised by liberal mainstream media people to discredit a true conservative. You are a pawn in their hands... to them people like you are kind of a joke. Their plan is to discredit everyone on our side using tools like you so that Obama can be walked right back into office in the next election. So good job!
