This part of the CNN poll has my interest: Romney vs. Obama: Obama 47, Romney 51 = Romney +4 Gingrich vs. Obama: Obama 53, Gingrich 45 = Obama +8 Cain vs. Obama: Obama 53, Cain 43 = Obama +10 Perry vs. Obama: Obama 52, Perry 45 = Obama +7 Perry has not lost ground after that major gaffe. And this doesn't factor in his stellar debate performance on Saturday.

I’m sure his fundraising is taking a hit.
This CNN poll may. But La Raza Rick's RCP polling average is at 9.9%. Cain is currently at 21.3%. That's an 11.4% difference and much more realistic than what the CNN poll suggest at 2%.
I saw Herman Cain try to explain the issues and my God, it was brutal. I turned it off after 1 minute I was so embarrassed for him. It was nothing like Perry forgetting and agency he's probably given 100 times, it exposed Cain for a rank armature.
Perry runs the 15th largest economy in the world.
Is the CIC of 20k man military.
Has experience dealing with natural disasters for the last 11 years as an executive.
Helped create an environment to create 1 million jobs and 40% of all jobs created since the Obama disaster.
Rick Perry is ex-military
Rick Perry is apologetically pro-life and pro-gun.
Rick Perry has a real record to run on. Herman Cain has been a personality who was given a pass for his outlandish statements that he could quickly say "I was joking"
Herman Cain has no record to even run on so voters of his have to be required to trust everything he says based on his word.
Romney may have only 25% but it is consistent support. They are sticking with him instead of going with Huntsman or whatever. It would’ve been a different story if Christie entered the race.
Conservatives are jumping left and right. I wouldn’t be surprised if Santorum gets his turn soon to be the next frontrunner...for a few weeks.
Good. Hopefully, he’ll push Mitt to fourth!
I do!
I won't vote for Romney and Huntsman.
I probably won't vote for Cain.
I would vote for Perry, Gingrich, Bachmann, Santorum, Paul.
taking it to zero is Gingrich
Why we should condemn Perry for a common occurrence is a very good question ~ particularly when it's being proposed by people who do that all the time themselves.
Quite frankly Perry started off on the wrong list. The proposal is NOT to abolish the Commerce Department (one of the oldest cabinet level organizations) but to abolish Labor Department and fold it BACK INTO the Commerce Department.
Obviously when you start with a null set, to wit "Commerce", there's no there there to turn to ~
Ricardo must remember in the future to start with ENERGY, then EPA, then EDUMACATION, eh!
Rick Perry may have actually helped himself with how he responded to the gaffe the very next day by putting himself on tv and using humor to diffuse. The public does watch how they recover themselves.
anti-Perry Patriot ping
Because that’s your word, not mine. I’m quoting you.
Mitt may have the most support at 25%, but the theory is all the conservatives will jump to the last conservative standing.
Romney owned a larger chain in that period and sold it off without a profit, or at least not enough that he's proud of it.
Rick ate a lot of pizza in those years ~ but did he use jalopenos or Italian red peppers? What kind of man is he?
Christie is insufficiently Conservative.
Gingrich has a rolodex that goes back to the 1980’s.
His good polling will have a huge number of donors step forward.
So then you don’t agree Obama = Zero.
Perry isn’t done. You and I both know that.
When people finally sober up and actually take a clear eyed look at Romney/Cain/Newt. I trust they will make the right decision. I’ve been wrong plenty of times, but I have a good feeling about this one.
