San Diego’s heavily populated with military. Paul wants to get out of 150 countries where we don’t need to be and focus on defending America — not babysit other ungrateful nations. The results of the poll make sense.

I’m not for Paul, but in this case, he’s right.

Was there a balloon or blimp race? How many truthers, antisemites and peacecreeps were there?

for some reason the place is crawling with them!

I finally quit going to Tea Party events as they had taken over. I didn't want to be associated with their message.

Whoopedy freakin’ doo. Spastic Ron Paul fetishists get another opportunity to dump money and and time into a meaningless popularity contest which they totally purchase and this is news?

Wake me when the Scooby Doo villain actually polls in double digits or actually wins a legitimate primary.

Oh yeah. Big win. For everybody who wants legalized heroin.

Or a international policy (isolationist) that got us into WWI and WW2 (manic dictatos are best dealth with before they obtain the means to destroy the world).

Ron Paul has some good ideas—a % of the GOP/Libertarian thinking people will support him but—he will not lead the party—his view are—on many things just too extremism for America. He has a dedicated following and should be heard but it will never be enough to rise to the top. None of the people running for the GOP nomination are Racist in any form and using that bent and ripped card is beneath anyone who calls themselves Republicans.

Some of these “straw polls” are worth paying attention to. But when you have polls that sample less than the size of 4 Chicago precincts (370 voters= X 4) they’re valueless. As the saying goes the only polls that count are the resulting votes comming from American Poles.

In fact the results of some of these primaries are even questionable. Here we have tiny states like New Hampshire with small populations and set political views deciding who the candikdate is going to before the rest of the country gets a chance to pick their candidate. As far as I am concerned the Iowa Caucuses are a joke. (BTW the word caucus is an Algonquin word that made it into the American lexicon.)

The way I understand it. Voters have to show up a their polling place at a given time and go through a procedure which can take up to an hour or even more to decide on a winner as voters switch sides until a given pluality is reached and the winner gets declared. What would be fun to see is if they voted only once and no clear winner declared for that preccinct.. I could just see the resulting Headline... IOWA CAUCUS WINNER UNDECIDED ...That would screw things up very nicely

Appeasement Paul wins straw poll after straw poll, but that is all he ever does. The only way he gets more than about 5% in any poll is when he gets the blame America first crowd involved, and Republicans are not anti-American.
