Ah, Shimon. The world looks so much better from orbit. I'm reminded of Santa Claus on Mars, when the children and Santa fight off the evil villains with an army of toys. Iran believes that it is morally perfect BECAUSE they want to destroy our little country and everyone in it. Attacking its moral foundation would require discrediting either the Koran or their view of it, and since they can't tell the difference between the two, and won't consider the notion that Muhammed was a nut job and a fraud, you're wasting your time. Economic sanction? Political pressure? Hah. The only things Iran doesn't make itself are cars and computers. It has its own political circle among nations, among them OPEC, the Council of Islamic States, and couldn't care less about the UN. A pity Israel doesn't follow its example on that score.

Attacking their moral foundation might have been effective if it had started a decade or so ago but now its too late. We should have exploited the westernized youth instead of keeping silent when they rose against their leadership.

Attackc Iran's Moral Foundation

Yeah, sure. Remember how well that worked against the Nazis. There they were all set to bust out of the bunkers, retake Berlin and reconquer Europe, when we undermined their moral foundations. Hitler, seeing the errors of his ways, killed himself and the other Nazis decided that they really didn't want to conquer the world after all.

Simple minded me, I thought we would have to clean out the Persian blight, root and branch.

“Spoiled?” “Morally corrupt?”

Maybe so but those things are the SYMPTONS, not the DISEASE.

The disease is ISLAM, which Iran’s leadership takes more seriously than the other Muslim countries, thus Iran presents greater dangers than the other Muslim and Arab countries.
