Note the consistent theme that OWS is legit, positive, broad, etc. while the TEA party is astro-turf, racist, narrow, etc.

You're looking at Obama's playbook via the national media.

Sorry about the enormity of the graphic. I set the parameters for smaller, but it didn’t take. Perhaps a mod or more talented FReeper can advise me.

Look at the “Education” portion of this. Even the “uneducated” tea Partiers have a higher college participation rate than the national average...

I see a bunch of stereotypes for the Tea Partier descriptions, but for the OWSers it seems pretty damn accurate to me.

As far as the size, you can’t compare a bunch of layabout hippies that go to every protest where there is a chance of naked people, booze, and weed to a movement dominated by patriots.

I like the honesty about the number of arrests though.

The “Tea Party Movement Stereotypes” crack me up. Very few Tea Partiers are “upper class Americans”. In fact, most “upper class Americans” support the OWS douchebags.

I’ve also never seen a single racist at a Tea Party event, but the OWS movement is full of anti-semites and racists.

The ass kicking they get next year will have them all scratching their heads (if they can get them out of their butts).

Given some of the numbers I am suspicious of the whole thing. By it’s nature the 99% is a larger group than any other American demographic. Where did they generate the gross number of participants in OWS? Media estimates?

When I didn’t see rapists, thieves, and other criminals listed as Occupy participants, I knew this thing was about as legit as a certain Pretender in Chief’s birth certificate...

I question how many of the foreign movements that OWS claims under their umbrella are actually "OWS".

For example, there was supposedly a large "OWS" protest in Rome a couple of weeks ago. However, in reality it was in reaction to the failure of a no-confidence vote against the now-former PM Silvio Berlusconi. Yes, it was about economics... but it was not "OWS", because it was eerily similar to protests that happened the previous time that Berlusconi squeaked through a no-confidence vote in December 2010, long before OWS was conceived.

The protest size is complete BS. The other countries' protests had nothing to do with the American OWS movement. Also, the largest protest was far larger than 30,000. The one in DC was at last 100,000.

The OWS people are more educated, in worthless fields. I'm not impressed that you received a piece of paper.

What a crock! Did David Brock write this? His nickname became David Crock after the Anita Hill book.

The only singular bit of truth in that bs is Newt’s quote. The rest is garbage on its face.

I don’t think their better educated. They’ve just had more schooling in subjects that the world doesn’t value and now are suffering unemployment and debt due to their bad choices.

If all a school child were to learn was Poor Richard’s Almanac - a penny saved and so forth - they’d be better educated than this crowd.

Who’s the bigger fool: the fool or the fool who follows him?

Yep, stealing from those that have more than them is a major plank of their movement. The history of political stealing is what we now call crony capitalism.

Whose side are they on anyway?

All I did was change the width to be 2/3 of the original. You don't need to specify the height since this is autotmatically scaled for you by the browser.

<img src="http://www.accelerated-degree.com/faceoff-occupy-wall-street-vs-tea-party-movement-infographic.jpg" width="480"/>
