Rush gets it, and so does Cain. Since when do they video this crap? This wasn't a debate. Candidates usually spend an hour or two with reporter, shooting the sh*t, and then giving their "official" positions on issues. Now they are RECORDING it? Where are the tapes of Obama and Bush doing this? Or other 2012 candidates? This is ridiculous. These are PRINT reporters - PRINT his responses. Cain needs to continue to laugh it up.

At least he is a real conservative. The poor NewtBots on FR are about to be reminded of why Newt aligned himself with Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry on global warming. None of the other candidates would have allowed the discussion to be taped. Just a rookie mistake. Cain is beginning to self destruct...and I was a donor.

It’s just not done, by any reporter worth a damn.

They are holding Cain up to a higher standard than anyone else, because he prepares his own speeches, and speaks without a teleprompter.

Any reporter worth a damn edits the footage so that they deliver the actual content. I’ve worked as a reporter, and got great, candid interviews that reveal what the candidate actually believes.

Then the candidates usually get mad at me for actually reporting, in full, what they actually said and believe. Why on earth would I include the pauses, etc?
