Is anyone else sick of hearing about Gabby Giffords?

I’m sad she was shot, and glad she is on the road to recovery. I’m disgusted she has chosen not to resign and is thus depriving her citizens of representation.

I suppose it’s admirable that her husband didn’t ditch her in her hour of need like her fellow ‘Rat Edwards did. Yeah, it takes a little courage to get through each day on the road to recovery. Tragedy sucks.

So let’s take a hard look some of the thousands of American soldiers and Marines who are coming back home with pieces missing and shattered lives (if they come home at all). Or even those who make it back OK after giving a huge chunk of their lives with their familes away in order to serve their country. How about the medics and surgical staff’s who put them back together and rush them home for treatment? How about the air crews, the carrier support group crews, the grunts on the ground living in the dirt, fighting every day while Gabby’s fellow traitors undermine their progress and squander the results of their sacrifice at every opportunity.

There’s courage. There are some lives to be admired. Lets start seeing those stories in depth and give the Gabby story a rest. OK, Diane?

I agree with you. Whenever someone who suffers tragedy is given national publicity, I think of the many other tragedies that go unrecognized.

As far as Palin and the Gabby shooting is concerned, Palin gave an excellent summation of it. I’d give a link to it but am too lazy.

I just told hubby the very same thing a few nights ago.

I’m glad she’s doing well and she looks great,
but the world doesn’t revolve around Gabby.

I don’t need a play-by-play report of her recovery.

I agree 100%. She needs the - hospital/doctor/medication/therapy - bills to be paid for by the free healthcare she gets as a congress critter.
Wouldn't be surprised to see her run again in 2012 or even her hubby.

You should live here and listen to the 24-7 media coverage.... The local paper might as well be called the Kardashian, I mean Gifford, Gazette. It won’t be long until we change all the street names.

The condescending husband is only with her to advance his political career. It was a marriage of convenience from the start (with alleged infidelity on his part and lies about where she actually lived, hint, not in her district). Now, he’s using her as a prop to line himself up to be senator. Or, maybe even president.

Not one of the rest of us would ever receive that kind of care. Certainly not the military who are the real heros.

Giffords was long a traitor. Among other things, she forced us all — against the wishes of the vast majority of her constituents —into the cattle cars of DeathCare.

I’m sick of hearing about her also. Enough already...we get it. There are people who get hurt in the line of duty...our military personnel, for instance. They get hurt, they suffer, they get medical treatment, and they return to duty if they are able. They are NOT looking for a political boost or media attention.

Give it a rest, Ms. Gifford. We get it.

Giffords and her moocher husband are going to milk this for all it’s worth.

When is their Lifetime movie coming out?

I think I liked the astronaut who wore diapers better than these two.
