No. The border not being sealed and the Feds saying you can't check immigration status in public schools or refuse health care. It's the people who hire them. It's the violence along the border. It's a miserable Mexican government that is too corrupt to begin to build a middle class. It's a lot of things but the tiny number who use the instate tuition is so small that it is NOT why they are coming into the U.S.

We need a conservative ascendancy in the U.S. not a drive them into the Democratic Party machine ascendancy. Perry is strong on this issue and he is the ONLY one running who will roll up his sleeves and FINALLY fix this.

That's true, and I say that as a tenative Perry supporter. Every candidate has at least one major issue that I disagree about. I think Perry is half wrong on immigration. I think he is sincere and right about sealing the border, but soft on illegals who are here already. To be honest, a lot of that probably is due to the dependence of Texas agriculture on illegals. I don't think that's any worse than the flaws of the other candidates, and I learned a long time ago that every politician supports something I don't like. When I look at the totality of where they stand on issues though, I think Perry is the best of the current crop. But I don't have to make an actual decsion until March, and there will likely be only 2 or 3 left by then to choose from.
