H.R. 822, the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011, has officially passed one of its first hurdles by making it out of the House Judiciary Committee unscathed. The legislation now moves on to the full House of Representatives for approval, a process which could be completed before the close of 2011. So what exactly stands between you, your Florida CCW permit, and the ability to carry down Broadway in New York City? Oh, just a couple of minor steps

Senate will reject.
Also, what does it do for states’ rights in that fed trumps states?
The NRA supports Harry Reid and does so, it says, because Reid has the best interests of gun owners in mind. We’ll see.
Whenever I hear that phrase, I know I'm either listening to a far left wackjob liberal in favor of gay marriage or some neo-Confederate Kentucky Colonel all decked out in a gold-fringed grey rebel officer's uniform waving the Bonny Blue Flag.
The Federal government can crush any state like a warm M&M® using nothing more than the Commerce Clause. They don't even need to use the other barrel full of SCOTUS rulings like 'Slaughterhouse' and 'Wickard vs. Filburn".
Should it pass the senate, which is very unlikely, Zer0 will vote 'present' via the pocket veto.
This wont pass the Senate or get signed by BO but it will help come election time.
well, we can only hope!
One article says it passed the House and this one says it passed out of committee. Which is it?
“”The House has voted to make concealed weapon permits issued in one state valid in every other state that allows people to carry concealed firearms.

In 1915 you might have had a point, but both states’ rights the Cons itself have been 100% COMPLETELY DEAD, DECEASED, NULL AND VOID, A BIG FAT NOTHING, ZERO JOKE, for a very long time. The cons is DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and has been for a very long time, so if we can get conservative legislation passed that maybe is not 100% constitutional, so be it.

Presidential veto. No override. Nothing changes. This is just posing. Anyway, this is a questionable bill vis a vis states’ rights.
“And it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,” ~Obama
What if a miracle happens and he tried to win back those he alienated and offended.

Is that slide marked 9mm? That’s just wrong on so many levels.

“...Is that slide marked 9mm? Thats just wrong on so many levels...”
Well....maybe think of it THIS way...
No matter WHAT caliber it’s marked...the mere fact that it exists and one of US owns it is keeping a totally replaceable, totally interchangeable Cyberdyne Systems Standard Model 100 (M)(F) or (I) Liberal awake at night somewhere, peeing in his/her/it’s frilly pink panties...
And smile a little at the thought...then 9mm doesn’t seem so bad...
It’s all perspective!!!!!!!
