This is great! Now the lawyers can go to Harvard and ask what % of each biological gender self-identified as gay. Say I wanted to go to hahvahd. If I knew it would benefit me to self-identify as LBGT and checked that box how would the hahvahd people know? Are they going to follow the students around to make sure that they engage in behaviors proving that they are LBGT? Oops!

That's probably true - no doubt the question is being asked so that people in the admissions office get first dibs on "recruiting" members of the incoming freshman class for more personal, um, "counseling" (yeah, that's the ticket)...
