Bachmann took campaign money from Freddie Mac while she was ‘fighting’ them

Rep. Michele Bachmann hit former Speaker Newt Gingrich hard on Wednesday for receiving consulting fees from mortgage giant Freddie Mac, but it turns out Bachmann herself received campaign contributions from The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation’s (Freddie Mac) political action committee during the 2007-2008 cycle.

“While [Gingrich] was taking that money, I was fighting against Fannie and Freddie,” Bachmann said on Wednesday.

It turns out that while she was “fighting” them, she was also taking their money.

The Leftists have no sense of humor. I’d suppose they might snort and ausfahrt in between mainlining heroin or something like that, but they mostly don’t know the difference between right and wrong.

AIG appears to have backed down on their donations considerably in this election cycle but there's still a year to go.

Normy,

If Perry surges in the polls, he’s the next target. Think they went after Cain and Newt hard? Just wait until the Left-Wing rags get their hooks in Perry.

I never understood why Perry supporters jumped on the Cain/Politico slime piece. Did they not realize that even worse awaits Perry should he surge in the polls? I wonder if those who were fully behind the Cain/Politico slime piece will be just as enthusiastic when they go after Perry?

Rick Perry is gonna be the only one taking it to Obama and he doesn't hang out in DC.

I admire your allegiance to your candidate, but I find your post laughable. Let's just say that you and I have diametrically opposed views of the man.

Oh, I’m sure the liberal/neo-con establishment attack poodles will come out with all of the details if he rises in the polls anymore. They have to keep Saint Mitt in the lead so Obama can trounce him in November.

Except that Ron Paul believes our actions caused 9/11 and he is for legalizing pot hence the crazed lunatic following.

Yeah - it's much more comforting to know that a Republican candidate has to virtually promise another war in order to get elected by its jingoistic base. Talk about a "crazed lunatic following"...

The Party has gone frikin' insane.

If the primary election was today I’d vote for Perry. He has a clear record, a clear plan, and is right on every big issue except immigration, and he’s half right on there. And most important, what you see is what you get. He hasn’t flip-flopped once, even when it’s to his political advantage to do so. And he has the guts to say things straight, Obama’s policies are socialist, Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, and global warming is a fraud.

Funny, too, since you don’t have to be in DC to be an establishment crony. But hey, every governor protects their special ‘ag’ friends, don’t they? Or as we often hear, ‘So What!’.

“he doesn’t golf as a hobby”

Boy, that would be nice for a change.

I don’t trust golfers, especially those that are NOT professional.

Yes sir and if you remember the "53 seconds" he could have just said "yeah the EPA" and been done with it but he didn't he said "the EPA needs reformed but that's not it" and when pressed further "You can't remember?"

"I guess not, oops" Perry doesn't lie and shift blame and that is commendable

Cain blaming others in his own party exposed him to me.

...you don’t have to be in DC to be an establishment crony.

Indeed. I just know that my construction business has been decimated by unfair illegal alien competition in the work force, and that Perry has never done anything to help me and other Americans in Texas with that problem.

Of course, little guys like me don't have multi-million dollar construction firms, and we can't grease Perry's palm like the big boys can.

Can’t wait for everyone, especially the media, to start digging out the facts on the democrat candidate the way they have been on top of all the republicans!

We might even find out who he really is.

RuPaul is scandal free ? Really ?

The last time I checked, accepting donations that were bundled by the neo-Nazi organizations Stormfront and VNN was quite scandalous. You know what else I find scandalous ? The fact that Dr. Demento brought home more pork to his district than Nazi Pelosi did to hers in 2009.

Newsflash: Jew hater Ron Paul is no better than anyone else. In fact, he’s a lower lifeform than everyone else.

This cluster-foxtrot of a candidate lineup is depressing as hell.Nearly all of them are nose-pinchers.I’m still torn as to who to vote for-Cain or Gingrich. They’re so busy attacking each other, and defending themselves from outside attacks, that no one has really seriously stayed on topic.I’m so fed up with all of this.Ugh.
