The BBC has admitted 15 breaches of its editorial guidelines and has bought documentaries for "nominal" fees aslittle as £1 from a company that was working to promote foreign governments such as the Egyptian regime of the now-deposed Hosni Mubarak.

No wonder Khomeini when he was in exile in France before returning to Iran, had reportedly said "BBC is my voice". BBC continuously put Khomeini on a pedestal & amplified his voice inside & outside Iran at the time. Meantime refusing to give to Shah's gov't equal opportunity.
Today, this is even more disappointing, but not surprising. Britain in recent months has reiterated that the official policy of the UK regarding Iran is not "regime change".
