The cleanest way to eliminate government corruption is to limit the length of time anyone can serve in the House and the Senate. Many State gov’ts do this why not the Feds? It certainly would cut out the lifetime benefits.

Agreed! Term limits will be very effective in draining the swamp. Although the presidents benefit quite handsomely in spite of being term limited.

If the tax laws are simple, such as a flat tax with no deductions and no loopholes, there is absolutely nothing the lobbyists have left to lobby for.

And of course bail outs & earmarks are other two twin hydra’s which breed corruption.
