These are only laws that apply to congress and the Prez nobody else!!!!! Lobbyist should be outlawed and make it a felony to take a bribe.... Felony for insider trading!!! Period.. No if ands or buts congress has been getting away with this outlandish behavior way too long.. They are above the law!!! Ask them...
That’s true. And such laws which exempt classes of citizens from this or that law, imho, violate the “general welfare” clause of the Constitution.
Our Constitution also has in it the term “corruption of blood”: by parallel formulation we are unwise to ennoble a class.
