It is arguably the job of any U.S. President to be our cheerleader-in-chief. That’s why President Obama’s recent comments blasting the business community for being asleep at the switch have the rest of the country reeling.
“We’ve been a little bit lazy over the last couple of decades. We’ve kind of taken for granted — ‘Well, people would want to come here’ — and we aren’t out there hungry, selling America and trying to attract new businesses into America,” he told the corporate chiefs who gathered at the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
But with millions of Americans out of work, maybe it’s the President who needs to do a better job of making America more attractive. Instead, Obama has reverted to his old playbook as he campaigns across the country on a platform of doom and gloom meant to deflect blame from himself to the Republicans.
Back in September, Obama said in Florida, “We are a great, great country that has gotten a little soft, and we didn’t have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last couple of decades.” Then in California, “We have lost our ambition, our imagination and our willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge and Hoover Dam.”
If we’re so pathetic, why would Obama want to preside over such a despondent dump of unimaginative, directionless losers?
The answer is simple: Obama needs a down-and-out America to win a second term. His strategy is to paint a picture of a sad, slothful, ailing America that is in need of rescue. Salvation that only he — the one we had been waiting for — can deliver. How else can he make the case that he can save us, much like he did in 2008?

He’s not a leader...he’s simply a narcissist. He’s at the top because he’s self-important, not for any quality he possesses (except of course for his ability to read from a teleprompter and his claim to being 1/2 black).
Obama is by far the laziest President this nation has ever had.
His insult to hard working Americans is going to make a great commercial against the lazy-a$$ community organizer.

I have a friend who worked for a large mfg. corp. and routinely traveled to Europe for meetings.
She said that they were outraged that meetings were scheduled for 8:30 a.m.... Begining their work day that early was unheard of.
They had really long lunches and knocked off early too...but WE’RE lazy????
That stupid Pretenda from Kenya is an absolute oaf. He wants to talk about lazy? How about spending more time on the golf course than in the Oval Office? How about all the ‘vacations’ he and his fat-ass’d wookie wife take at the drop of a hat? He wants to talk about lazy? The foul bastard need only take a look in the mirror.
The problem with 0bama-lama-ding-dong is that a.) he NEVER held a job or ran a business in the private sector (unless you count his brief stint scooping ice cream in a Honolulu Baskin Robbins as a teenager), b.) like all fascists he thinks the answer to every problem is to increase the size of government and raise taxes on anything that moves (and anything that doesn’t move), and c.) as a committed Marxist (and a lazy Marxist at that), he automatically plays the class-warfare card to set everyone at each other’s throat while he exploits the chaos.
The stupid sonuvabitch has no business being in the White House, and in a perfect universe Almighty God will arrange the same sort of end for this arrogant and petulant child-king that King Ahab met.
If the GOP is stupid enough to nominate that numbnutz 0Romney as their candidate next year, America will suffer a final four years under this sh*t-for-brains despot until our national death takes place.
And WHY did that grinning monkey use a CONNECTICUT-ISSUED Social Security Number when he never LIVED in Connecticut?!?
Sad that we’re saddled with a president who lacks vision. He has a “the glass is half empty” attitude. America is full of people with plenty of initiative, drive and ambition and he stands in the way.
They are lazy? Taking for granted that "people will want to come here"?
I can see it now. I am a Chinese entrepreneur, lots of money to invest, and I look at America, China and Malaysia as possible locations. I begin with the USA:
I have to pay a line worker HOW much?
I have to bring the unions in and negotiate with them?
This is the book of Federal, State and Local environmental and code regulations I have to follow?
THESE are the permits I have to get approved and pay for?
Who is this "Rainbow Coalition", and why do I have to pay them money?
If I hire a homosexual, I have to treat his sexual partner as a spouse?
If a woman has a baby, I have to give her a month off, and give the same to the husband? And PAY them?
"Let me see the Malaysia packet. Wow. This is a lot smaller."
Let's hope that it has the same effect for Obama that it did for Carter.
Plus at least a month off every summer for vacation. Ever try to get anything done in Europe in August?
Cut back on the regulation and we’ll start our own businesses. The last thing we need is more companies that have no real ties to the US.

Whenever I come up with a solution at work and someone says man your smart (in jest I’m sure) I tell them “no I’m just too lazy to do it the hard way”.
