Allow the people to choose what they will use and accept as money. That is the free market. That is freedom.
An imposed single currency is completely antithetical to human freedom.

If a world currency is forced upon us, it will not work.
We HAD a currency that was recognized all over the world, the dollar, but it was dependent on an economically strong USA.
The Euro was an attempt to unify currencies but it's failing because some nations don't carry their own weight.
Any attempt to create a world currency based on some artificial "basket of currencies" is a colossus with feet of clay.

A universal currency is a pipe dream.
A universally accepted currency is not and has happened throughout history.
The US dollar was that currency in the last 50 years or so. That is it was until the our government out grew our ability to finance its upkeep.
