Interesting thing about Harclerode—he assaulted most of his victims in his office on the campus of Bucknell University. He has admitted to molesting boys there from the 60’s to the 90’s. They were all 11 to 13 year olds when he first met them (Sandusky’s preferred victim age.)
Bucknell was never dragged into it. Surely they must have known something was going on there on campus. The old bastard was doing it there for 40 years! Like Sandusky, Harclerode kept his emeritus status and his campus privileges right up until the day he was arrested.
Another thing—Ray Gricar disappeared in the town of Lewisburg, where Harclerode was living at the time.
Coincidences? Maybe.

To me, this is just like the Dutroux “investigation” in Belgium. Everybody all the way up the line (from police to judges to one of the heirs to the throne) was involved, either as participants or as accessories after the fact. Dutroux is in jail, but most of the others got trivial sentences - if they were even prosecuted - because “somehow” the investigation just bogged down.
The Judge that set the no dollar / signature only bail is Second Mile volunteer.

I think excuses are being formed for a plea deal in which Sandusky serves no time.
I think the poster was mistaken. The current DA’s wife’s biological brother was adopted by the Sanduskys. It’s interesting and very important imo that the Sandusky’s oldest adopted child Ray, now 48, was a foster child in their home when he was 3 yrs. old and the Sanduskys were newlyweds. This was 1966, the year after Jerry graduated from PSU and was working as a Paterno grad assistant. Very strange that Jerry at 22 or 23 eagerly skipped the honeymoon phase in favor of becoming an instant “daddy”. He and Dottie may have had a sexless marriage from the start.
The more we learn the stranger it seems. I expect there is still quite a bit more to be learned over the coming weeks and months.
