I'm guessing it is really a lot higher than 61%, but a lot of folks don't want to be negative about a black politician to a stranger on the phone.

IF they vote for the GOP candidate, then the answer is NO.
If they do not vote, then the answer is maybe.

Anyone can win if no one votes for the opposition.

Should read: Whites have had it with affirmative action.

Can conservatives win if 99.9% of blacks won’t vote for them?

I’d say the “racism” is on the part of those that continue to support the guy because of his race despite what their own common sense tells them about the job he’s doing.

When wiil we see a headline like this?
Can a Republican win the Presidency when 90% of black Americans will refuse to vote for them no matter who they are or what they stand for?

Politics is a great game as we all know.
Hate him today, like him enough to pull the lever once you’re behind the curtain.
That hate can turn to like or at least tolerate when you consider the candidate.
Lets hope we do better than McCain so to motivate the masses to come out and vote against this Zero.

As a white person, I am offended by the inference that my objections to the President are based on race.
His color - except as it seems to communicate political leanings much more than race or national origin - has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with my opinions.

...I thought the same thing in 2008. That most whites would say they were voting Obama as to not look like a racist and then actually go McCain. I was wrong.

The problem with 0bama has absolutely nothing to do with race. His Marxist policies, his incompetence, his arrogance, his hostility toward the American people, and the corrption of his administration are some of the problems.

Count on CNN to ask a stupid racist-slanted question.
White or Black as nothing to do with him being a stupid incomeptant boob

According to the latest census, the US is still 70%+ white, so the answer should be no, (barring a huge amount of fraud or extremely low white turnout and extremely high minority turnout.)

This was inevitable. You cannot have someone without substance run a campaign on platitudes and expect results. Those who voted for this clown wanted so badly to be part of something historic.
Well....you will be.....though it's likely not the history you had envisioned.

Can President Obama win re-election if almost two-thirds of whites are opposed to him? WRONG QUESTION!
The correct queston is: Can Obama win re-election if he does not qualify in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of the United States?
