This is an older article that was already posted--but with the title truncated to leave out the Romney slam and the most important part cut out. I have left the important part IN.
I don't like Huntsman particularly, but he could play a major role in defeating Romney. He could seriously cut the legs out from under Romney in NH.

Hey! Huntsman finally says something I agree with! (The part about Mittens being a weather vane, not about Huntsman doing well in NH). Of course since Huntsman is the only candidate to the left of Mittens, that’s sort of like the pot calling the kettle black.

Actually, I think there are 3 who should drop out: Huntsman, Bachmann and Santorum. They’re clogging things up. Each one may have some strengths - Bachmann is very good with numbers, for example - but they’re not going to make it nationally.
Ron Paul is a libertarian nutcase who shares virtually no GOP positions. But his supporters are so devoted to him that they wouldn’t vote for anybody else anyway, so he doesn’t matter.

Oh la! Anyone who doesn’t read “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters”, will only have themselves to blame if either Romney and his side kick Huntsman get in. And believe me if Romney gets inn he’ll find a place for Huntsman.

Romney's problem:
You can't be a perfectly lubricated weather vane on the important issues of the dayHuntsman's problem: I know right where he stands.
To: Antoninus
The taxpayers need to well lubricated if Mitt gets the nod. Between him and Hussein, it ain’t gonna be pretty.

Huntsman does have a knack for a crafted phrase. “A well-lubricated weather vane” is PERFECT for Romney! Don’t like his opinion now? Just wait 5 minutes!

Huntsman is in NH every week. It is the only state he is competing in as he is skipping IA and SC.
Last poll shows him at 7%. If he finishes third, maybe he lives for another week. I guess his strategy is that if Milt melts completely, he will continue on vs. Newt ... but even then, Newt, Cain, Paul will have 3 candidates going the distance ... so I cannot see the Huntsmen getting any traction even if he is successful.
He has run an interesting campaign in rural NH. The problem is that candidate is dull. And a “moderate-liberal” who won’t call himself a conservative.

Day 48 Of The FReepathon
Do you Know Why?
There are loyal posters that donate every FReepathon. Some donate several times during every 'thon. But others never donate. Why?
1 My enemies haven't been zotted.
2 The owner doesn't support my candidate.
3 FR won't "upgrade" to "Like" buttons and blinky crap.
4 Someone else will donate.
5 My friend was zotted.
6 I lost my job and have no income.
Only one of those is a legitimate reason.
