exactly right
Foreign policy is a moot point. We must vote for the candidate that will stop as many economic affronts to our economy by the various forces arranged against it with what leverage we still have and what we can still garner or achieve. If we lose economic sustainability we have lost everything else.
This means that the best candidate will support cheap energy by eliminating the influence the EPA has consistently held that has done nothing but make energy more expensive (as an easy example).
This means that the best candidate will support etc. conservative positions.
Rhetoric and past. Support with no background. I have no one to fully trust in this conflict. I hope Cain is true to his word because I already have reason to distrust Gingrich. This is all I have to go by.
On the other hand, I could be set up as a patsy to believe in Cain. To believe this I would have to believe that all the conservative rivals were falsely discredited by the media, and that Cain was not a conservative to begin with.
Bottom line, Cain is our Reagan, or our Republic fails automatically. If Cain is who he says he is, he will still most likely fail by resistance. If he still stands tall, he will be surrounded by failed economies.
“Call it a gut feeling, but I do believe that there are other unpleasant surprises in Newts closet. Surprises that the Dems know about but are keeping under wraps for now.
Should he end up with the nomination, theyll spring the trap.”
Why would the Democrats know things others don’t know? If Newt winds up being a thread to Romney, I’d expect the Romney campaign to do a good job unearthing whatever’s out there.
I think the main thing on American’s minds will be if the GOP is a viable choice to be president. If the economy is going well next year, Obama will win. If it’s doing badly, he’ll lose. If it’s doing so-so, it will be close, provided the GOP candidate is viewed by the masses as being a credible alternative.
I thought that embraces Washington insider label he gave made a lot of sense. I would predict that Gingrich is the nominee.
Two words: "Washington DC". Sodom on the Potomac. Newt has a lot of time there. Romney, not so much. Plus, I don't think that Romney's opposition research people are as sneaky, underhanded and vicious as the Dems and the MSM.
I have a feeling we will see more “shock” polls before all is said and done.
Its over with, I must immediately purchase a full size poster to worship his magnificence!
