Thank you for participating in our poll. Here are the results so far:
Yes. They work low paying but necessary jobs. 84% No. They take jobs away from citizens. 14% I don't know.
If I’m a greedy employer (farmer, etc) and wish to pass my labor costs onto others in society, then they are a good deal. If I’m rich and need gardeners and want to save money at the expense of society then they are a good deal.
If I’m an American patriot who believes in a free and legal market for both products and labor, and what is good for the USA, then I would never support the use of illegal foreign labor.
Undocumented workers are only necessary if we continue to pay people not to work.
When we keep extending Unemployment, adding people to welfare roles,give workman’s comp for minor injuries , Food stamps ,Americans are not going to work if they keep receiving money for not working.
That's a lot more than 1%.

I hate polls with false choices like this one.
The question should be reworded to: Are foreign workers necessary for our economy?
And the choices should be:
1. Yes, and it’s okay if they’re undocumented (here illegally)
2. Yes, but they should have a guest worker status (here legally)
3. No, they are just taking jobs from U.S. citizens.
I would answer #2. The current poll has no answer that I agree with. It basically offers only choices #1 and #3. If you think we need them, and want them here legally, you have no choice that fits your preference. That’s what happens when they are really asking two separate questions at once: 1. Do we need foreign workers? and 2. Can people be here illegally if they’re working?

The irony is illegals aren’t a good deal for anyone. Every taxpayer is paying for the illegal drain on ALL of our services, the real irony is the greedy employer and the rich that want cheap gardeners are also paying higher taxes to support all the illegals in this country- not just their own workers.
Then add patriotism and knowing what is right or wrong to the equation and it makes you wonder why anyone would support illegals being here at all.
