Elizabeth Warren won’t sign off on Occupy Harvard ( MA )
Boston Herald ^ | November 17, 2011 | Hillary Chabot

Posted on 11/17/2011 4:04:14 PM PST by george76

U.S. Senate hopeful and Harvard Law prof Elizabeth Warren, who has claimed she laid the “intellectual foundation” for the Occupy Wall Street movement, is jilting the anti-corporate proteges in her own Ivy League yard, refusing to sign a petition in support of Occupy Harvard.

...

The move distances Warren from an organization that is losing public support, according to a Public Policy Polling survey released yesterday. It also has made her a target of the Karl Rove-backed Crossroads GPS political organization, which unleashed a negative ad last week blasting her for supporting radicals over jobs. Warren backed off her “intellectual foundation” claim a day after making it, saying she doesn’t support all Occupy actions but stressing that she’s been fighting Wall Street for years. But Warren supports the movement so long as they follow the law, Sullivan said.

Occupy Harvard members were unwilling to criticize Warren yesterday.

She’s another liberal hypocrite.

And she’s favoring the Wall Street criminals over the poor and the elderly widows.

I think that it won’t be Scott. That is too bad. Warren puts to rot in Rottweiler.

Elizabeth Warren has said that wealth should be shared because all commerce moves on government roads and is protected with government services.

Thus:

Doesn’t Harvard get all kinds of Federal, State and Local grants?

So didn’t “the people” build Harvard?

Shouldn’t Harvard share some of the vast wealth with the commoners?

She sounds like she’d be a great Senator from Ma. The people their know their place and accept it. :)

Harvard, reading a great book right now “Washingon’s spies” and it takes you back when most of our patriot heroes were students at Harvard at 14 years of age. How far we have fallen. Harvard is on the same level as the UN and all who attend are marixists socialists communists and anarchists hell bent on destroying the country. Makes you sick don’t it?

Day 48 Of The FReepathon
Do You Know Why?

There are loyal posters that donate every FReepathon. Some donate several times during every 'thon. But others never donate. Why?

1 My enemies haven't been zotted.
2 The owner doesn't support my candidate.
3 FR won't "upgrade" to "Like" buttons and blinky crap.
4 Someone else will donate.
5 My friend was zotted.
6 I lost my job and have no income.

Only one of those is a legitimate reason.

Support It Or Lose It

That's what I thought (pretty much), but the League of Conservation Voters (I never heard of them before either) is running an attack ad on him for supporting "handouts" (I believe most people call them "depreciation allowances") to Big Oil. Every time I see the ad, I want to cheer him on!

Scott was good psychologically. We had not had any positive political news nationally for some time before Scott.

Scott is no Conservative, but compared to Warren he looks like Barry Goldwater.

First she proudly declared her own self to be the intellectual Mother of OWS.

Then she took a bunch of flak.

Now she won't stand by her initial declaration: A woman with solid, albeit relative, principles, not unlike Mitt from Mass.

She is a bona fide liberal---aiming for Governorship of Massachusetts.

Soon, with our help, she will be even more irrelevant.

Elizabeth Warren (born Elizabeth Herring, June 22, 1949) is an American bankruptcy expert, policy advocate, law professor, and United States Senate candidate. She chaired the oversight of the 2008 U.S. banking bailout.

LA Times:

Los Angeles Times- Warren, of course, became a nationally known figure for her role as overseer of TARP, the Wall Street bailout program
