Tebow completed 66.4% of his passes in four years at Florida. There was no talk of what a bad passer he was in college. He probably had better receives in college than he has at Denver. Three are now in the NFL: Harvin at Minnesota, Hernandez at New England, and his roommate who’s now with the Eagles. Plus he had other good receivers.
Things are faster and different in many ways in the NFL. But during the long post-game show on the NFL Network they talked to John Elway and showed Elway’s stats for the same number of first starts as Tebow has now had. Tebow’s passing stats were better than Elway’s.
If they keep playing Tebow and improve the pass protection many might be surprised at what sort of QB he becomes, plus if he can continue to utilize his running and not have serious injuries, lots of folks might end up eating huge servings of crow.
Oh, the Gator boards were full of opposing fans posting messages like, "Tebow Can't Throw", when he was at UF.
