Names like Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, John Elway, Jim Kelly, Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Warren Moon and Brett Favre are nowhere to be seen on that list. That's not a coincidence.

Passing yards won't tell you anything about how good a QB anyone was in college, or what their pro potential was because the balance of run and pass has varied so greatly over the years at different schools.
I can think of three old Alabama QBs who wouldn't be anywhere near that list: Bart Starr, Joe Namath and Snake Stabler.
