NO BCS DO OVERS!

If OK beats OK State, OK should play for the NC. Oregon and Bama had there chance against the coonass hooligans. As much as I dislike LSU, they should not have to beat a team twice.

I say let undefeated Houston and 1 loss Boise play.

Lord help us, they play better high school football down here.

But what if OSU beats OU?

Just got back from a high school playoff game (sons in the marching band). I have no doubt that a couple of the kids who were playing tonight will be on TV on Saturdays next year. Two in particular never went down unless at least two defenders tackled them.

LSU loses to Arkansas, then loses to Georgia in the SEC Championship, with both teams at 2 losses

Not going to happen.

I’m glad Iowa St. won, but wish it had not been on the day of the terrible plane crash. That had to be a distraction for OSU.

Congrats, Cyclones. Tough day for the Cowboys. Hope they all take the bus to go home.

Shut up, Linda! There’s ANOTHER undefeated team - the Houston Cougars. If they win out, they deserve to play for the title.

No way! They lost to a crappy Texas Tech team - at home.

I think either way, LSU is going to get a rematch, either against Bama or Oregon.

I am an Iowa State alum, Chem E ‘62. It is not often that I get to cheer and relish an Iowa State victory such as this! Go Cyclones, Go!

I lived in Lincoln 12 years during the 80’s and early 90’s...had a chance to get a taste of Big Red victories. Also a chance to enjoy a couple moments such as this one when the Cyclones beat the Huskers. I still cheer for the Huskers, especially in their new habitat. Living in Ohio now I have gotten a good baptism into Big 10 football, but have not caught Buckeye fever. If the Huskers could win some of the ‘little’ ones as well as the ‘big’ ones...tomorrow I will be rooting for the Huskers...Beat the Wolverines!

But today...IOWA STATE...all the way to Lincoln Way!

You do realize that your Cougs would get slaughtered in a MNC game?

Best to rest on the laurels of an undefeated season against mediocre opposition and nurse a grudge than be given a chance at the big time and go home embarrassed before the whole nation.

Unless, of course, the MNC opponent is a high-performing team from another equally weak conference.

Maybe this confusion will finally lead to a national playoff.

I wouldn’t want to see a rematch with either team. An in conference rematch between LSU and Alabama would be just about the dumbest thing ever though.

Why, they’re the two best teams in the country.

If Oregon manages to run the table in impressive fashion they will jump Bama.

Oregon probably would pass Bama on the basis of being a conference champion, but it’s still a rematch.
