Herman Cain answers a question regarding his stance on Libya while in Orlando Friday.

ORLANDO —
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain addressed the media Friday as he made a stop at an Orlando theme park.
The Holy Land Experience said it will show a presentation Friday afternoon featuring Cain.
Cain was scheduled to appear at 4 p.m. in the park’s Shofar Auditorium. The event was closed to the media, but Cain did answer questions afterwards.
Cain approached the group of reporters, escorted by the Secret Service and explained the change in security.
“We had private security for a while before we asked for secret service protection but we wanted to move to that next level because of my ranking in the poles and the additional scrutiny that I have been getting,” said Cain.
Cain also defended himself against criticism following a question he was asked at a Cuban store in Miami, he asked “how do you say delicious in Cuban?” and added he knows very well that Cubans speak spanish and that he was just fatigued when he made the comment.
When asked about his stumble in an interview with a Milwaukee newspaper concerning U.S. policy with Libya, Cain explained the question was too broad and the newspaper chost to make him look bad.
Cain also touched on how he will lead if elected.
“As president, I am going to be the people’s president, not the politician’s president, the difference is when I ask congress to propose legislation, I am going to ask for it to be simple, understandable, if it’s simple, understandable and transparent, guess what? The people can get behind it,” said Cain.

The Cain Show has gotten stale.
His lack of knowledge is no longer seen as a badge of authenticity and outsider status.
Once a candidate reveals that he doesn’t know that China has nuclear weapons he ceases to be someone I want in charge of teaching 3rd grade, let alone occupying the White House.
Actually that is true. My ex sister-in-law was Cubam and it was not unusual to ask her “ How do you say such and such in Cuban because the dialect and certain words are not native to castellan. (I should know, I am of spanish descent from Spain) Again much to do about nothing but hey Romney is perfect and Obama walks on water did you know?
Some of them are here to destroy not to have a factual discussion.

Cain said China was developing their nuclear capability - he did not say “acquiring” nuclear capability.

Several Cubans have come on Cain’s Facebook page and have said the same thing. This is not a gaffe.
That seems to be the stock answer any time any of them screws something up. Maybe they need to be in a less strenuous line of work?
Give it up. Cain can no more take this back to reset his image any more than Perry can take back his previous and fatal campaign errors.
You can spin all day long and probably will, but the mold is already set and the damage is done.

Cain has 1.9 million volunteers, who are the most motivated and committed of any candidate and if you think we are going to shut up and go away, you have another thing coming.
People WILL learn the truth.
