They also have to ban the promotion that breathing can oxygenate the body.

I’m so glad they worried about this instead of less important things like the EU collapsing under the burden of socialist bureaucratic nonsense like this

From the MSDS:

“LD50 Oral Rat: >90 ml/Kg”

Whoa, that some dangerous stuff!

v. hy·drat·ed, hy·drat·ing, hy·drates
v.tr.
1. To rehydrate.
2. To supply water to (a person, for example) in order to restore or maintain fluid balance: “Cold water is the fastest and safest way to hydrate an ordinary athlete” (Jane E. Brody).
v.intr.

I guess we’ll have to redo the dictionaries, too. Or they pay a fine for including the definition.

Well said Olog-hai. Without water you would die from your own filth not being flushed out. Mainly via the kidneys.

If the EU was trying to point out that different brands of bottled water were no better and/or beneficial than tap water then an advisory is all you need, not another freaking law of course unless you need to collect fines to keep the bureaucracy running.

Of course pizza is now a vegetable here in the US so I don’t see much difference between us and them.

Water does not cure a lack of water? I’ll remember that next time I’m hiking across the Sahara. Glad the EU straightened that out for me.

3! 3 YEARS. 3 years, I am sure of intense study that cost many thousands of Euros to decide that water and hydration do not mix.

“It wasn’t dehydration that caused your skips. It was caffeine”

No. I’m still drinking the coffee, but now I`m also drinking just plain water.

Just coffee & no water=skips.

Coffee PLUS plain water=no skips.

I was dehydrated. Caffeine causes dehydration.

I was a soldier for 10 years, I did many very physically demanding things both domestic and overseas, that far surpass what most athletes would have to endure, and I can say with absolute certainty that water is fine.

They only claim otherwise to sell drinks, it’s just marketing.

Ever looked at the ingredients of gatorade? It doesn’t really have electrolytes in it ... not enough realy, all it has is sodium, if electrolytes = sodium only then ya, Gatorade is fine.
