“I bought some powdered water but I don’t know what to add.”—Steven Wright
It’s about the EU saying water will not hydrate you. Nothing said about food. EMT’s do not give dehydrated people plain water. They use a hydration pack that’s high in electrolytes. Plain ater does not have that.
They should ban water.
Or have they already done that?
Go on out in the desert and walk briskly for five miles or hike up in the hills for a while without drinking water and see what happens.
The biggest killer in the AZ desert is not snakes and such, its heat exhaustion. Lots of people die from it and they have full bottles of water on them.
They say if you start to get headaches, its already got you. Every year there are EMTs on the radio telling people that when you hike out in the areas to drink enough water that you have to pee every 20 to 40 minutes.
