As a shooter there is NO WAY I'd shoot from the "grassy knoll" with a target moving left-to-right across my field of view. I want the target effectively stationary (moving away from me). At 60-70 yards it's an easy shot.
The shot did not come from the front as many have stated, because the windshield is in the way. A shot from the rear is ideal.
What killed Kennedy: Two 160gr 6.5mm rounds from a Italian Mannlicher-Carcano rifle moving at approximately 2200 fps.
wrong
now you are going to say the windshield is in the way?
geez thats a new one
Look at the Zapruder film- let me know if you see about 5 feet of wide open space between the windshield and the president?
The shot came from the front RIGHT - not dead-ahead, through the windshield.
And despite what you WANT (a non moving target) that is clearly not what you had.
The shot came from the front right, that is why his head goes back and to the left.
back, and to the left
back, and to the left
