Probsbly won't be on much the next few days. My wife's brother is back in the hospital. They are operating today to remove a tumor. He started coughing blood again and checked in Monday.
In the meantime Comcast "fixed" the slow service to our apartment complex. It's now gone from slow to none. The service tech is meeting me this morning between 8 and 10 - the time I'd usually be sleeping.
At least I was able to put the computer in the Saturn yesterday and it seems sorta OK. Shifts hard from 2nd to 3rd but that's a common "feature" on auto Saturns I understand.
Still have to work on the Durango's brakes though. Probably do that Friday or next week.
I'll try to catch the thread at home - IF Comcast gets it's act together, LOL!

Fired up for a day with family tomorrow and a four-day weekend - with a car that’s running like a top again! woohoo!
Happy Thanksgiving LS! I’m happy about the car! I’m quite looking forward to tomorrow as well. Sister and her kids and boyfriend coming over. Maybe my friend and co-worker, and her boyfriend - maybe. He’s in the hospital and may not be out in time. Both in their late 70’s. Might invite the new neighbors. They moved here from Oklahoma.
As you can see I'm posting at home. I sorta fixed the problem. I started checking the coax cables and found one that was gooched. Pulled the end off and reset it and we're back up. Running kinda slow, 65mbs compared to the usual 130-170mbs but the speed does vary a lot here so it's probably normal.
Now I have to call Comcast and cancel the service call or we'll get charged.
So...I was listening to Quinn as I was testing the Saturn on the way home.(computer is fine and the engine runs great...now the transmission is shifting hard. sigh) In any case what a GREAT monologue! I have to get that on podcast later today. Have any of yunz seen a picture of the RR statue in Poland? So far I haven't found it on the net.

I’ll bet they sure appreciate the invite. Hope the weather cooperates for you all, too. Not easy on those older folks trying to get around. We’ve got 50-degree and sunny weather in the forecast for the next couple days. Good for getting our mom around, warm deer hunting, but sure not helping that lake freeze for ice fishing... darn it! LOL Really up for the four-day weekend. :o)
