Yep. Bush wasted billions of dollars a year on AIDS prevention in Africa. It was used to fund family planning outfits and condom distributors, and the net result was to spread MORE AIDS.

Much of the money was sucked up by gay activists who inevitably run these programs.

And it earned him absolutely no thanks from the gay community, which continued to blame him for the spread of AIDS.

Hey , calling Bush a rino does not make one a radical conservative. Bush presided over the largest growth of government since LBJ.

I thought the Bush administration did back the abstinence and faithful monogamy programs, which did make a difference in Uganda, instead of only supporting the condom and drug programs, as most other agencies seem to.

How much of a problem is breast cancer in Africa, anyway? It used to be fairly rare here, when women had babies young, and the average life span was only about 60 years. Which conditions still hold in Africa.

And cervical cancer is prevented by the same behaviors that prevent HIV infection.
