I stand corrected!
I remember a flooded family room (lower than the rest of the house) as a result of a burst supply hose to the washer.
Stepping off into that lake in the dark was quite a surprise!
I hope your new floors work out well for you.
Well, the house is and will be a mess until all the work is done. My neighbor and I laid the original flooring, but since this is an insurance claim, they want pros to do the work.
We had part concrete and part wood flooring for Thanksgiving dinner. No one had any problems and the food was excellent. My mashed potatoes are always a hit.
