If Romney gets the nomination, I will hold my nose and vote for him.

I did that with McCain....and if I can do it for him, I can do it for any Republican.

In full disclosure, I was a brain-dead liberal until I saw the Democrats run roughshod over the Constitution during the Bork nomination hearing and then became incensed at the high tech lynching of Thomas.

I vowed then and there to never vote for a Democrat, under ANY circumstances, ever again.

It took a few more years to figure out that voting third party or even just "sitting this one out" was a vote for a Democrat just as sure as throwing a lever.

“voting for a third party or sitting it out”.

Amen! It is beyond belief that anyone would help Obama get re-elected. Look at the damage he has done in less than one term. I would take any of the GOP candidates over Obama without hesitation.

I could have written every word you wrote above.
Same experience....

I don’t care for Romney at all, he epitomizes the “slick northern Republican elite” wing of the party that wishes only to perpetuate their own power and influence and to heck with values or principles. But there is a high likelihood that we may be stuck with him as the nominee, courtesy of the primaries.

Given those circumstances, I’m reminded of the saying, “old age isn’t so bad, when you consider the alternative”.

Come election day, the question will boil down to:
“Obama — would we be better off with him, or without him?”

I know what my answer must be.

(by the way, I liked Eddie Willers and didn’t understand why Rand “left his character hanging” the way she did...)

Maybe YOU have switched; but MILLIONS more LIBERALs have been created since then; voting for whoever GIVES them more of YOUR money.

Are we past the tipping point now?
