Yeah ! They are sell outs and completely untrustworthy.

There’s all kind of crazy and treasonous and criminal stuff the gov is doing - no one can even know it all, and it’s constnatly accelerating. But still there is imaginings and speculation and it’s very hard sometimes to separate fact from fiction. All I can do at this point is to try to use trustworthy sources, since I can’t read the documents/bills/laws etc - even if could I’m too dumb to undestand them.

And I trust the ACLU even less than I would trust McCain or the other guy.

Sudentenland, sounds as though you seriously need some kind of Paxil or one of those calming anti-psychotic meds. Or at least a hot bath with a bit of lavender oil (make sure it’s pure essential oil, no “fragrance oil”, for the real therapeutic effect). Afterwards some warm milk or chamomile tea would be very soothing.

I strongly recommend the above. Sounds as though your anger will cause some high BP or an aneurism or something. Stroke, heart attack, etc. Think of the grieving relatives you’ll leave behind. (But if you communicate with them like the comment to wintertime, maybe they’ll be cheering...)

As for "plenty of people agree with wintertime," that only speaks to the sad state of "conservatism" on this forum. Nothing like conservatives eating their own in the vain search for a perfect conservative.

Folks of your and wintertime's mentality would be calling Bill Buckley, Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater "RINOs."

Your version of "conservatism" is far more accurately called "John Birchism." No thanks, I'll stick with Rush, Michelle and all of the rest of those previously named (maligned) real conservatives--those who remain in touch with reality. While S. 1235 had some very scary language in it, apparantly this one, S. 1867, does not and applies only to foreign capture of noncombatants, but under the law of war.
