Agreed (as I’ve stated many times back in the Palin wars).

I like Sarah Palin and Duncan Hunter and both endorsed someone I opposed in my district’s congressional race.

No harm no foul, I just voted my way and put my guy in office.

Frankly I wish FReepers would stop playing this childish popularity game. I

Pay attention to how Sheriff Joe is treated by many who spam Perry threads with false information.

It has already started, just look at the posts at CNN at end of article about the Perry endorsement.....SICK

Provide evidence Perry is a crony capitalist, is pro-illegal and pro-big government

Perry is a Karl Rove Republican. That is enough to disqualify the RINO. As for evidence of pro-big government, Texas ended up with a huge deficit during his time. It went from a zero deficit state to having a deficit of around 25 billion dollars (don't recall the exact number but you can look it up).

Karl Rove and his gang opposed every Tea Party candidate in 2010 even when it meant putting a Democrat in office. It is payback time. We will not support Karl Rove's candidates.

Also, we need a winnable candidate. Perry cannot defeat Obambi. Herman Cain vs. Obambi will result in a Cain victory. We have been told all along that we must all rally behind the candidate with a chance of victory. It is now the turn of Perry supporters to show such support for Cain.

Cain’s idiotic 999 is a non-starter. Plus, his lack of political record means he just says what people want to hear. If I wanted a talk-show host, I’d much prefer Mark Levin. Cain is too much of a shallow thinker for me.

Perry lost me PERMANENTLY with that “no heart” statement

I dont want my government to have a heart- I want them to enforce the laws

In fact, lack of political experience translates to lack of experience in CHEATING AND FRAUD. Perry once ganged up with Al Gore. He needs to be thrown out of politics or hounded out to the Democrat Party which is where he belongs.

Everyone already took a look and ruled him out. Although if you're one those who's weak on principle you will start finding things that aren't really there, allowing you to support just about anyone. Perry fell because of factual issues that most Conservatives can't except. I couldn't accept them then, and I don't need to take another look at him when I already have, and it really wasn't what I wanted any part of.

Arpaio is a good sheriff, but he's also weird, especially when it comes to endorsing people. Perry is still just as bad on illegal immigration as he was when everyone stopped supporting him. Arpaio won't help Perry, but will probably lose a lot of donations\support people were planning to help him out with.

Karl Rove recruited Perry form the Democrat Party and ran his campaign. They are part of the same cabal.

Lol ! Well, you got the talking point down. Got anymore detail on that, or did you just pick it up on a DNC site? Are you saying Perry supported Gore in the 1992 election against Bush?

Cain has demonstrated to me that he is weasely on his positions.

Weasely on the border, with his electric fences and moats and now weasely by scrubbing his website of all talk calling on the super committee to pass his 999 plan.

Calling on the super committee to pass phase 1 of the 999 plan used to be listed as the #2 bullet point in his 999 plan.

Now he is all against the super committee.

Cain has proved himself to be a weak candidate both politically and intellectually. Heck, surprisingly, even Huntsman has more on the ball. Never thought I’d say that.

1988? Didn’t realize Gore was the nominee in 1988. Oh, you mean because Perry supported Gore over flaming Northeast Liberal Dukakis and race-baiting Hymietown Jesse Jackson in the PRIMARY that should disqualify him.

Well, that certainly makes sense.
