No doubt, Barney will say that he is tired of working in Congress and increased partisanship that prevents things from getting done. He will use his press conference to attack the Tea Party. It will be interesting to see if he mentions the recently disclosed information about the extent of the Fed loans under TARP.

He’s retiring because the GOP will control the House for the rest of the decade..and being a “ranking” member sucks...
