Fox 5 report to accuse Herman Cain of 13-year affair

Fox 5 Atlanta’s Dale Russell is promoting on his Facebook page a piece alleging that GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain had a 13-year affair with a woman. “Cain denies an affair, but not a relationship,” says Russell.

The story is aimed for the station’s 6 p.m. broadcast.

Many years ago I worked with a man who was my mentor. We got along swimmingly at work as we both shared an interest in physics and conservative politics. Outside of work, there was no relationship.

When I rescued a pregnant stray cat and she delivered three cute kittens, he said he wanted to adopt one as a gift for his wife.

One of his children came with him to my house and picked up a kitten.

Three years later, during their divorce, she accused me of having an affair with her husband.

Never happened.

Herman Cain has my sympathy.

Why is the media so obsessed about whether or not Herman Cain had extramarital relationships? Why? Do they just want to jump on the bandwagon to trash Herman Cain with stuff that really does not matter?

Day to day relationships are par for the course for most Americans, I believe. Gossip is par for the course when people have not the brains to talk about substance.

If Cain finally implodes expect most of his supporters to move to Gingrich because those two got along well while Cain and Perry were fighting.

NEVER. If Cain is finished, Palin needs to run. Otherwise, it's time to take the bong out of storage and get behind Gary Johnson.

“Cain denies an affair, but not a relationship”

This promises to be very interesting.

Uhhh, if affairs are gonna rule out candidates, then Newt better drop out right along with Cain.

Newt fans around here better be careful about cheering on the Cain affair story, true or not. The Left is setting y'all up because trust me they have a ton of ammo ready on ol' Newt with regards to women.

God, no. This is the wrong way to take a candidate out of the race. If he’s liberal or wacky or inept or just doesn’t appeal to anyone, fine. Accusations by hired skank and exposes of strictly personal matters — no. Even if they have better corroboration than the skanks (which was zero), they ought to leave it alone. They are causing totally unnecessary pain to the entire Cain family and probably someone else’s besides.

You had an Intellectual Affair with that poor man and ruined his marriage. No sex, no romantic feelings, but just all brain. But still an affair....

Well in the minds of liberals it is....

Liberalism: the theology of envy and coveting other people’s stuff.

I guess the people haven’t totally accepted NOOT yet, so they have to try to destroy Cain utterly.

Yup. A political coup de grace because he was twitching.

If Cain were having an affair with a man it would be applauded and celebrated as the norm and liberating since it’s a women it’s like having sex with your dog.

Did we get this kind of interest with Obama’s homosexual affairs? Maybe he gets a pass because he is gay, and it would be politically incorrect for the media to scrutinize him.

Larry Flynt must be really afraid of Cain. It appears he is spending some of his extortion money.

Let's say that this woman's allegations are true. Mrs. Cain will have to be the one to deal with it. So will Mr. Cain with the Lord.

Let's say that having an affair disqualifies you from the presidency. Let's say that the standard started in 1900. How many former presidents would have been disqualified?

The answer is easy, and embarrassing.

“....... Cain said he would not comment on the allegations until he knows exactly what is going to be reported.”

Something smells.

Thing is, a ton of people supposedly on the Right want Cain destroyed also so they will cheer on this attack on his personal life, stupidly unaware or uncaring that the exact same thing is going to happen to their candidate of choice. We know Newt has more skeletons than a haunted house. Obama can have gay affairs no one cares apparently
