I was warning you of the likelihood of the Fred Thompson gambit re Gingrich. He's a classic beltway RINOcrat and will say whatever is necessary to gain support and then do as he is expected, just as he folded like a cheap suit when the government "shut down." From what I can tell, your "alternative" is apparently an untrustworthy, gun-grabbing, health care insurance-mandate advocating, illegal alien "legalizing" chump for global warming zealots. Of course, he denies all that, today...
