And it is p*ssing me off that I have been on FreeRepublic for over Eleven Years, very active and a friend on many a thread about many a topic, and man recently I have not seen more names pop up of people who hardly ever post on FR, who although have been registered for awhile, are taking these verbal pot shots at Herman Cain right and left. You know, post and run kind of stuff, launch an attack and go hide. I too really think we got zips in the wire on this. P*sses me royally. I am not discounting those who have loyally been on FR for a long time who just happen to support somebody than Cain. Nope, I am talking about a different, odd breed here.

I think we've been aware that the deep left has had sleepers planted here and at other conservative forums for many moons. I see the folks you're describing, and have called a few of them out.

I nearly always get a nasty, snarling response ("Look at my sign up date, you moron!") to my inquiries. I don't always take the time to do so, but sometimes, I'll go through their posting histories to get a sense of whether they're real Freepers or not.

I've noticed the same thing. I've never checked so many sign on dates before. I just don't recognize these names.
