A talking head on our side on WSB Radio had the nerve to say just now: Whether the allegations against Herman Cain **ARE TRUE OR NOT** Herman Cain is pretty much done’. The nerve! Where is the JUSTICE!? My god I do not recognize my own country nor public discourse not electoral processes anymore. What happened to TRUTH?! This is getting to be like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union where you just airbrush an enemy out via trumped up charges. Is any Freeper truly supportive of this new paradigm? I hope not.

You must also realize that by shutting down the government and the media frenzy it lost us the house

No I do not realize that shutting down the government lost us the house because it did not happen.

Ironically, this whole thing is like this SCENE out of "Citizen Kane" or would it be "Citizen Cain?"

Just his part in the next administration and an example to that constituency is a threat not only to Obama, but also the entire welfare state and its pimps who perpetuate it. That is not naive, it is reality.

Are you sure the importance lies not as an example to them, but rather you?

I'm curious to know what the rationale is for thinking that Herman Cain is going to create cultural change, because again, I think this another example of naivety.

My point is that she should have kept her mouth shut about our “great leaders and all their affairs.” I have nothing but admiration for the way she handled her inconvenient pregnancy. If you live in a house with glass walls, you should approach rocks and sharp objects with caution. She should have let someone else make her point.

Cindi, Thank-you so much for your perspective, I frankly have been so
depressed, I had such hope in Cain. I keep coming back to the fact that
all of the accusations are entirely from time at the restaurant association.
What about the rest of his life???? I really want to believe that a person
surly would have had this type of conduct throughout their lives not just
a few years in the course of their lives.I like you DO want proof!!!!! If this
however is NOT true, what have we come to as a people to deliberately
destroy a conservative BLACK mans life for political gains!!!!! His family
should not be subject to this!!!!! We are definitely fighting PURE EVIL!!!!!

While I appreciate your thoughful response, I still disagree about Rick Perry. Though he does not have the debate skills of Newt Gingerich, he exudes a more real and sincere aura than Newt in my opinion.

It’s very difficult for me to base my support on the skills of participants in the photo op debates. I never thought Santorum, Cain, Huntsman, Bachmann and Paul were starters in spite of good polling scores for some of them. And I don’t think Romney can win.

Perry seems very comfortable in his own skin and immune to to the attacks from those of lesser quality. I believe what he says and believe he will do what he says.

It seems as though Newt is trying to prove that even after all the negative PR over the years, he can pull a Nixon and come back big time. He would be a fine VP or cabinet member because he has the intellectual chops.

I simply want someone in the People’s House we can look up to and trust. And for me, that’s Rick Perry.

I have seen stuff from inside the beast that says otherwise. I for one am not to flights of fancy but one issue that would culturally take the air out of the liberals would be that one. I was raised as an Army Brat and in such was brought up in a totally different environment, thanks to my parents. I know from my travels and living around the world what is possible and this is not pollyannish. We need to address the folly of group constituency or we will never come together as a country ever again.

It appears that all is mute now as Cain is assessing his run.

I would probably buy a lot of appliances from Sears if he was. I love Drew Brees. He’s such a likeable guy. He’s young enough to be my son, but he’s so good-looking.

What does that have to do with anything? This isn’t about Weiner. This particular situation is much more believable than the other 2 women but I’m just not going to crucify someone without more proof. However his lawyer’s comment is rather suspect. I’ve said many times that Cain is my first choice but I could easily vote for Perry or Newt. If Cain quits or turns out to have had an affair then my support would go to Perry.

Right... Well wrong actually...

You can sue anyone tomorrow. The day in court is another matter. A lawsuit doesn’t have anything to do with an actual day in court. Its an action starting between lawyers/people.

He’s wealthy and can afford whatever lawyers he wants. Just by putting a lawsuit on the books he’d scare away the other “liars”.

You really need to stop rationalizing and face the facts.

I have seen stuff from inside the beast that says otherwise

I live in Massachusetts, arguably the bluest state in the union, and I live in a part of the state, northeast, that is very heavily Hispanic and liberal. Anybody who knows this state, knows the area I'm talking about. Trust me when I tell you that Herman Cain will have little impact upon the culture here. People don't change overnight, especially when it's been bred into the culture over decades and generations, institutionalized in academia, written into our laws, and practiced as a matter of custom everyday in America.

It's a nice thought that Herman Cain will change all that but it ain't going to happen.

“We need to put up a better fight.”

As I said on another thread, this reminds me of when there were rumors about Sarah Palin cheating, and Sarah handled it so well when she said, Have you SEEN Todd?

The leftist machine is even more ruthless with conservative women, and minorities, than they are with other conservatives.

We need to boycott the leftist media, commedians, and maybe even their advertisers. This has gone way too far, and we need to fight BACK!!!!
