I agree. CT ranked at 22 ???

Connecticut’s wealth is the result of past GOP controlled governments that encouraged defense contractors to HQ in CT, made energy readily available and cheap and developed an outstanding infrastructure. CT wealth is also due to its proximity to NYC...where wealthy businessmen worked, but lived in CT’s formerly lower tax rates.

But due to recent government decisions that have resulted in high energy and labor costs, companies are moving as many jobs as they can to the south. The infrastructure in other states, particularily Georgia and Florida, have improved considerably.

CT is dying almost as fast as CA. Just on a smaller scale. I put CT in the upper 40s...not 22.

Completely agree with you. This list has a lot of BS in it. The factors looked at don’t include property or sales taxes. Nebraska might look good according to the indicators shown, but the taxes are an outrage.

FL was knocked because of the high percentage of uninsured. That’s crap. They don’t need health insurance. The community health centers give almost free healthcare. I get so annoyed because employees use the county health departments for everything instead of the Health insurance I provide them. It’s cheaper. Instead of paying a $20 copay + $40 per month for birth control, they spend $12 for a annual health exam and 12 month supply of birth control pills. Pretty good deal.
