I think they’re getting burned. Particularly the blond one who is about to be evicted.

As another FReeper brilliantly put it tonight, at least in her convoluted story, Cain gave her a ride back to her hotel; but her DNC masters have told her to take the bus. LOL.

Fred’s the only one I gave money, but he was a poor campaigner. Still a great candidate at the time, even if people turn their back on people in a split second (here).

Speaking of Perry, I just read where Perry pulled an Obama 57 states blunder. Perry told young people that the ones 21 and older should be sure to get out and vote for him, but that the younger ones could do campaign work and urge others to vote. He apparently does not realize that 18 is the voting age. How could one be elected a governor and not know that??? He also referred to November 12th as Election Day. Again, how could he not know that the first Tuesday in November is Election Day??

Here is a link to another FR Cain posting about the 13 year affair. I am not so concerned about that, but the argument was made that he could not have been having the affair because he was being treated for Stage 4 colon cancer. Is this the first we have been told about a potentially fatal cancer?? Aren’t candidates supposed to inform the voters about serious issues like that??

Yes, Herman Cain has talked about his cancer. He went so far as to say that had Obamacare been around when he had his cancer, he'd be a dead man today. If this is really the first you've heard his cancer, then I have to ask, Where have you been all these months?

I’ll find a lot of other people who know that RonPaul is a nutjob of the first water"

As opposed to the second, third or fourth "water"? And that would be who? Your bowling team? Or is English not your first language?

I agree!

Getting rid of Obama is good for your individual salvation and your soul!

Even if he is the Antichrist, we are supposed to fight until the end.

But I don’t think it’s too late to right the ship. Not yet anyway.

To use an analogy from Atlas Shrugged: The last two people to “turn” to John Galt’s side were Hank Rearden and Dagney Taggart. I see me as Hank and you as Dagney. ;-)

Doesn’t mean I’m right, but I am just trying to make the case that sometimes the ones that “give up on the system” are the ones that are right. Another example would be the Jews that got out of Germany while they still could in the 1930’s. And don’t think leaving your home behind in such a fashion did not take courage and an enormous force of will.

The MSM isn’t picking the Candidate, Cain has repeatedly shown HE ISN’T UP TO SNUFF, and folks are realizing it, you can’t blame the MSM for Cain flubbing a simple question on Libya, or for flubbing a question about US Policy toward Cuba when he’s visiting south florida.. you can’t blame the MSM for Cain’s lawyeresque answers, you can’t blame the MSM for this.

The republican candidate, whoever it is, is going to face a hell of a lot worse than Cain has been subjected to, he’s falling on his face repeatedly with softballs.

The president can’t be afraid to face questions with camera’s rolling. Cain clearly has shown repeatedly now that he has ZERO chance of surviving a national campaign. If this guy were to be the candidate, Obama wouldn’t just win a second term, he’d win it in a landslide. He’s not remotely ready for prime time.

The accusation isn’t what’s put Cain in the toilet with voters, its his responses to them. You think anyone running as a Republican for the president isn’t going to have to face a hostile press you are beyond foolish. “its the accusation” has nothing to do with why Cain’s campaign is in a shambles, its in a shambles because frankly he’s a horribly ineffective candidate. Some of the “tea party bloc” decided to latch onto him because he said a few things they liked, and that bloc doesn’t care for Romney (and I don’t either) they are desperately looking for a “Reagan” and quickly and foolishly lashed onto this guy because he said a few things they liked to hear. That gave him a bump, far more than he deserved based on merit, now that his merits are being put out for folks to see, they are realizing that this guy ain’t it.

Here’s the long and short of it, and I know I’ll get flamed for it, but this is the blunt truth. The Republican Class of 2012, does NOT have a Reagan, no one even comes close. The republican class of 2012 has 2 viable candidates in it, and by viable I mean 2 things, 1) They Could Actually Do the Job if Elected (I may not agree with how they would do the job, but they COULD and WOULD do the job, unlike the current guys who have no clue what they are doing and creating chaos everywhere because of it) and 2) Can win a national election. Those 2 candidates, like it or not, are Romney and Gingrich. Don’t have to like it, but that’s the blunt reality.

Tea Party Bloc have to come to the realization that Reagan didn’t just show up, say a few conservative things and go to the presidency... Hell in the entire history of the united states, NO MAN HAS EVER WON THE PRESIDENCY WITHOUT PRIOR POLITICAL OR MILITARY EXPERIENCE, EVER. There is a reason for that folks, and its not the MSM.

We all know the press is not going to be nice to the Repubican candidate, whoever it may be, if someone, like Cain, can’t even handle softballs in editorial board rooms about major policy issues, he has ZERO chance at a national campaign. Cain wasn’t destroyed by accussations, he was destroyed by ineptitude.

Now, with all that said, I am have no love for Romney at all, and Newt doesn’t exactly ring my bell across the board either, but they are the viable candidates in the field. That’s not the MSM talking, that’s my opinion, I know some others will disagree with that, but that’s political reality. Of the two, Newt is the far superior guy. Now, if there were a more Reaganesque conservative in the field, that had experience, ability, and could do the job, then I’d be all for them, but there isn’t. What you have is these 2 as realistic candidates, and a whole lot of other 2nd and 3rd stringers in the race. At this point, the 2nd and 3rd stringers can only be hoping to somehow leverage into a VP spot... and Cain, has no chance at VP.. he brings nothing to the table, he has no political base or home state to bring to the fold, he folds like a cheap suit under questioning, etc etc etc. He’s a nice enough guy, and who knows some day he may be back, but he only should after he’s gone and built a viable political resume.

" . . . will Ron Paul end up being the last man standing?"

Yes, R-U-N Paul WILL be the LAST man standing - when the music stops and all the others are sitting, R-U-N Paul will be standing there looking like the fool that he is. Your "source" is hardly influential, bub!

So many? Let’s see, there are actrually three that have stepped forward and been named I believe.

And each of them have so many holes in their stories you might as well call them swiss cheese.

On top of that, there is not oine shred of verifiable evidence amongst all of them that verifies and proves their stories.

DO I believe three people could be found by adversaries of Cain to take whatever their own experiences actually were and mold them into stories to discredit and defame the man? Absolutely.

Carville, Axlerod, and numerous other political operatives do that typ of thing all the time.

So, as I said, until such verifable, viable, and compelling evidence is laid on the table, I will trust Cain and continue supporting him. It’s crazy for us to do anything different than that, otherwise we open the door to allow sleazy, disgusting allegations and accusations to her us and control us into voting for those people the opposition feels they have the best chance against...or that the “establishment” amongst our own party (because they are capable of this too) wants to bring forward and win the nomination.

Cain represents an abject threat to both and they want to pull him down...and they want to do so badly.

Having lived through the Kennedy, Johnson, NIxon, Carter, and CLinton debacles, I will believe Herman Cain and his word any day over that of people like these.

Just look into their backgrounds, the other “allegations” they have made, their bankruptcies, fraud in some cases, their financial problems.

So she has 61 messages. Cain admits that he and his wife tried to help this woman. We do not know the composition of those messages and who was messaging who. She only has a four motnh period of messages...during which time Cain was being made a compeeling target for the types of people who think they can take a risk (without much to lose because they do not have anything) and hit some serious and quick money from whomever is “waving it in the trailer parks”.

Anyhow, sorry to be so long winded...but until that compelling evidence is there...and that is their burden to provide...I will not be distracted or deterred.

The proof is in the pudding, girly. R-U-N Paul (R-U-N because Paul wants to run away from the rest of the world) will not earn the nomination. His foreign policy positions are those of a loon, and the voting public knows this (all except those who bury their heads in the sand). You’re good with R-U-N Paul’s postion of allowing Iran to obtain nuclear weapons? If so, then you’re just as loony as he is. Name calling be damned.
