Well, Newt might stop Romney - he does seem to be the new establishment favorite. I've noticed that FOX is now pushing Newt over Mitt - they've seen that Romney just can't go up in the polls. I just don't think he can stop Obama. It's my opinion that Newt Gingrich is a loose cannon - he knows what to say in the debates to get people cheering - but talk is cheap, and I don't have any idea how Newt would actually govern. He sure has a record of stabbing conservatives in the back.

I'd like to ask Gingrich supporters a question - I don't even want to hear an answer to it - this question is just for you to ask yourself;

Do you really believe that the media (FOX included) is going to let there be a debate between Newt & Obama, like the Lincoln/Douglas debates - or any other non-rigged for that matter? The media will do anything they need to do to make their boy look good - the kind of debate you are looking for will never happen. Also, whether you want to admit it or not - the presidency is pretty much won by people who are photogenic. How do you think Newt is going to look on stage next to Obama? Obama looks young and fit - Newt looks old and fat.

Newt is able to conjer up coherent and pertinent points and put them into historical context, while the Interloper needs a teleprompter to recite someone else’s written words. The only points Obama can recite from rote are from Mao’s Little Red Book or Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals.

By the way, the youth are gravitating to Newt because of his sharp wit. Ever hear Obama tell a joke?
