The Apple iPhone: Is Siri Pro Life? Apparently Yes
Gizmodo ^ | 11/30/2011

Apple iPhone 4S' Siri can find you hookers in your neighborhood. Siri can find you Viagra. Siri can find you a local surgeon to give you breast implants. But apparently it can't find abortion clinics.

The evidence seems pretty damning. • If you ask Siri for an abortion clinic in New York City, it will tell you "Sorry, I couldn't find any abortion clinics." A simple Google web search—which Siri itself uses to find results—gives you seven to start with, some within walking distance of where I'm located.

• If you ask the same question in the city of Washington DC, Siri won't direct you to a nearby clinic, but to one 26 miles away.

• A reader reported that when he asked "find a pregnancy termination clinic" Siri responded: "I found a number of medical centers fairly close to you." Then "it showed me seven results and four of them were chiropractors, two were acupuncture specialists, and one was an emergency room." Update: Indeed, after we tested this, it's true.

Apparently, women across the country are having similar experiences.. To make matters worse, the iPhone 4S' smart assistant will not direct you to a place where you can obtain emergency contraception if you ask for it. Instead, it gives you a definition.

Full sizeBut if you happen to be a man with a Viagra overdose, Siri will tell you where to go to get your raging erection treated. And if you say "I'm lonely" or declare you haven't had sex in months, it will direct you to a escort service. Obviously, Siri is smart enough to interpret your words and direct you to an illegal sex service. Why wouldn't Siri interpret your words correctly when you say "I am pregnant and do not want to be. Where can I go to get an abortion?"

The women who are reporting this think it clearly shows that there's something in Siri's programming that is against abortion and day-after contraception. Looking at the evidence, it's hard not to believe they are right.

The coincidences are too many, and the information is readily available all over the web. It seems impossible that Siri can't provide these answers while it can happily tell you where to find hospitals for any illness or how to get to the closest strip club

I doubt it.

It’s probably just a case of the left’s PC language tripping itself up.

I bet Siri could find a “planned parenthood” or a “women’s health clinic” easily.

Oh how terrible. People can't find abortion clinics by using voice recognition software. What will we ever do? How can we go on?

Gizmodo is going to have to lower their rating I suppose.

I’m reminded of the phrase from Confucius:

If you want to know the heart of a thief, find out what he won’t steal

This is because an abortion clinic will call itself anything other than “an abortion clinic”. They are all Women’s Health Resource Centers or nome other PC euphamism.

Even abortionists know that what they are doing is something they don’t want to talk about.

Indeed. If convenience and ease is a main requirement in finding an abortion clinic, then our society is really beyond hope.

That is the most likely explanation.

I really like using Siri...it may seem like an irrelevant toy, but I find it amazingly useful.

It is fun, too. I was showing it to my brother last night, and he said “Make it talk dirty to you!”

So I said: “Talk dirty to me.”

It said: “Dirt. Compost. Humus. Gravel.” When I tried it again, it said: “I’m not that kind of personal assitant.”

Oh, they’re screaming about it already. And I guarantee you that not only will Apple cave, they’ll make sure that it won’t be able to find any non-abortion pregnancy counseling or adoption centers either. Pro-aborts brook no competition to the baby-killing industry.

Pro-aborts are made up of about 90% plus of “had-aborts”.
They don’t want ANY indication ANYWHERE that the “choice” they made was morally inferior to making a different choice.

This is why they hate “abortion alternatives” organizations so much.

Any existance or acknowledgement of such an alternative ultimately points out the truth of what they did.

“Is Siri Pro Life?”

Let’s go a little further and ask it the following.

What is the meaning of life?

Yep, this is the answer -”All evidence to date suggest it’s chocolate.”

The real point of this if that pro-abortion individuals need aborrtion to be actively endorsed everywhere.
