Had the Super Committee voted out a plan that was then passed by Congress, President Obama could have hailed the Committee's accomplishment as an achievement, but his campaign theme of running against the Congress would have been weakened. No matter. The Super Committee was designed to fail and the White House knew it. Now, they can try to blame Congress for the deficit and the debt.Judging by his dropping poll numbers, I think the above strategy is a dubious one. I think Obama is already receiving some of the blame for the failure of the committee. He is no longer getting a pass the way he did when he was first elected.

I predict the dems will fight for every one of their issues and candidates like cornered RATS. Big time vote fraud starting right at the top.

Take their paychecks away; lock them in the Capitol until they come to an agreement to cut spending by $3-4 Trillion per year. Feed them bread and water only.
Otherwise, they are no better than Mafia strong men, stealing money and bullying defenseless people.

I find this article a little confusing, because I don’t see how these points change anything. Seems like Obama was always going to run against Congress, was never serious about the debt, etc.
