Im still recovering (it was a LONG arse 12 day stint, —but—they are my parents...so it’s what you do :-) BUT, I have made myself a promise, that I will NOT go there again, unless and until I have a computer hook-up so I can listen to Levin and FReep! ;-) Bad enough the drive is 5.5 hours—but then to not have an “escape” with FRiends.,...dang near put me over the edge LOL

That it is...but couple that with being in a home with elderly folks that see no reason to have cable, AND who live in a town of about 8000- and the highlight of the week is Monday night BINGO at the VFW, or Friday fish fry at the legion...—and you have yourself one boring arse time without FReeping ;-)

OH...one highlight of the trip....2 elderly ScandaHOOvian men came over to install handrails on the basement stairs for my folks...and ME (being the gregarious lass that I am)...heard them pounding the wall in search of the studs...Sooooooooooo I say..”I hear you looking for studs, so if ya find one, I could use a boyfriend”....and the SICK part is....this old “FARGO” speakin fella says “Are ya sure ya tink ya can handle one at yer age dere girlie?”

Your cell phone provider probably has ad AirCard service that works on 3G and 4G.
But it’s like an extra $20 a month.
(I don’t own a cell phone, but thanks big guy :-)
