When I was there ('97-'99), the area around B Street was the only place that was economical, hence many ne'er-do-wells lived in that area. Just outside of the north side of post, homes were selling in the $300,000 range. Heck, I lived at Cheyenne Crossing Apartments and it took all my BAQ and some out of my pocket.

Just think- there I was, at the base of Cheyenne Mountain, and never once did I see a Ja'affa, or an alien spaceship...

Yes, definitely some higher-priced homes out by the zoo and the hotel/resort. Back in the early 2000’s, the homes down around Colorado College and further south and east were cheaper. The overall housing costs in CS were not cheap, though.
