What most Americans don't realize is that an organized tiny minority can outweigh the disorganized majority in American politics when lobbying politicians for favors. The left has routinely devised ways to shame the majority effectively neutering any organized reaction to the minority demands. Simple answer, organize and damn the insults, and bribe the politicians to do the right thing. Trying to vote the corrupt bastards out of office is like trying to cut the head of the Hydra.
