Let me get this straight: They've over fished to the point where nobody can catch any fish, and now they want the feds to bail them out? Isn't that a bit like the kid who kills his parents asking the court for mercy on the grounds he's an orphan?

No - they are not overfished !! They are OVER REGULATED !!

NOAA Fisheries determines the season , species , size harvested , etc. . Even the location of where you can fish .

They opened offshore Grouper fishing in Florida during the heart of the “Hurricane Season” .

They arbitrarily and capriciously closed the “red snapper” in the Mid and South Atlantic .. without ever having conducted a study !! (Admitted to it last year in a Congressional hearing on the Stevens-Magneson Act - available on U-tube )
