Andrea Agrees With Zbigniew: America One Of World's Most 'Socially Unjust' Societies
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 12/02/2011 6:31:55 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

Zbigniew Brzezinki's indictment of the United States was so harsh—calling America "one of the most socially unjust societies in the world"—that even his own daughter Mika was taken aback, asking her father to explain himself.

But that didn't stop Andrea Mitchell from emphatically agreeing with Zbigniew Brzezinki's condemnation of the USA. In the course of doing so, Mitchell called the Tea Party and resistance to ObamaCare "exaggerated forms" of protest, while praising Occupy Wall Street as "a real movement" with "real passion and anger."

“I wish we were a tad more socially unjust.”

Amen! 30 years ago, we were so unjust that we expected people to work. I wish we would go back to ‘unjust’.

My wife is a nurse. Every day she sees patients that are 300 lbs and up. A recent woman was 5’0”, 290 lbs, and complaining her knees hurt. YGBSM! Of COURSE they hurt. They weren’t meant for the load. But did the doctor tell her to lose 150 lbs and get back with him? Nope. He looked up what Medicaid would pay for this <30 year old woman, and then recommended surgery at taxpayer expense.

That is “justice” in modern America. Bleah!

Oh yeah - so socially unjust that a talentless, parrot, air head “correspondent” with very bad skin could never make it in American broadcasting...
Take a hike if you don’t like....

Now, c’mon, let’s give Andrea a break. She should have this opinion when she looks at the millions she makes on a television career when she is just a no-talent shrew.

Oh, and Andrea, cut the hair/lose the wig. You are much too old to think you can look 30.

Zbig the Horrible. When he was a cabinet member --Carter?--my first and last opinion of him was that he was a legend in his own mind.

Years ago--about half a century or so--I did a paper on the correlation of intelligence and leadership. Much to my surprise, several of the Greek thinkers/writers of note said those with the most intelligence--geniuses--did not necessarily make the best leaders. Rather, someone with both intelligence and pragmatism often made the best leaders.

Zbig may (or may not) knock the top out of IQ tests, but he does NOT have walking around sense.

One last comment--if his IQ is half the size of his ego, the man is truly a genius.

I’m all in favor of Andrea and Al giving up their status in the “1%” and taking up residence in Zuccotti Park. Go for it, comrade. Sell off your assets and show how serious you are, girlie. There are LOTS of young ‘jourOlists’ who’d gladly step into your shoes. You may even find a few down there at the park.

Income disparity is NOT a sign of social injustice, it results from disparity in ideas, intelligence, motivation, initiative and ability. Income disparity IS SOCIAL JUSTICE by rewarding the productive who create things society needs and wants. For people in the media and govt not to understand this is extremely troubling.

Well said, and exactly right. There is no "justice" when property is seized and given to those who did not earn it.

THE QUEST FOR COSMIC JUSTICE
by Thomas Sowell

Because ordinary Americans have not yet abandoned traditional justice, those who seek cosmic justice must try to justify it politically as meeting traditional concepts of justice. A failure to achieve the new vision of justice must be represented to the public and to the courts as “discrimination.” Tests that register the results of innumerable inequalities must be represented as being the cause of those inequalities or as deliberate efforts to perpetuate those inequalities by erecting arbitrary barriers to the advancement of the less fortunate.

In short, to promote cosmic justice, they must misrepresent what is happening as violations of traditional justice— as understood by others who do not share their vision. Nor do those who make such claims necessarily believe them themselves. As Joseph Schumpeter once said: “The first thing a man will do for his ideals is lie.”

The next thing the idealist will do is character assassination. All those who disagree with the great vision must be shown to have malign intentions, if not deep-seated character flaws. They must be “Borked,” to use a verb coined in our times. They must be depicted as “A Strange Justice” if somehow they survive the Borking process. They must be depicted as having some personal “obsessions” if they carry out the duties they swore to carry out as a special prosecutor. In short, demonization is one of the costs of the quest for cosmic justice.

If it’s so bad, why do so many poor people try to come to the US? If it’s so bad, why do Andrea and Zbigniew stay? Hmmm? Maybe all this run-America-down claptrap is just empty posturing.

Agenda 21 and its base of the three “E’s” IS the plan to control and manage ALL human activity along the lines of Marxist/Socialist principals. Its been signed by Bush Sr. and implemented as per many executive orders of clinton and obama. Its a primary reason that the economic growth and prosperity has ceased to exist.

If there ever was any doubt about what a cretin Brzezinski is, he totally quashed those doubts.

Let us always recall who Zbig worked for: Jimmy Carter!

It wasn't just an incompetent Presidency. It was an incompetent administration.

I read the entire article linked Rose....interesting. Helps to understand why the liberal/progressives are so difficult to debate with and or reason with. They’re minds live in an entirely different “zone”.....and then some.
